FAQ: Sketchpad and Whiteboards

Is Sketchpad compatible with electronic whiteboards (SMART Board, eBeam, Numonics, InterWrite SchoolBoard, etc.)?

We are not aware of any incompatibilities between Sketchpad and electronic whiteboards at this time. In particular, the following manufacturers have tested Sketchpad with their products and determined that they are fully compatible:

• SMART Technologies, Inc. (SMART board)

Sketchpad supports SMART Board color choices for ink (by means of pens or buttons) and also supports multi-touch on newer SMART Boards that incorporate the required hardware. Multi-touch allows multiple users to drag objects simultaneously.

• GTCO Calcomp (InterWrite Schoolboard)
• Promethean (ActivBoard)
